Tri-County Record in Rushford, MN acquired by Phillips Publishing
Phillips Publishing, based in Spring Valley, Minnesota, purchased the newspaper from Myron and Darlene Schober. Dave Phillips publishes five other community newspapers and TMC publications in southeastern Minnesota and parts of Iowa.
The Schobers plan to retire after publishing the Record for nearly 35 years.
Julie Bergman of W.B. Grimes and Company represented the sellers in the transaction.
