The Clifton Record and Bosque County News aquired by Jim Moser

Jim Moser, managing member of Bosque County Publishing, LP has acquired two community newspapers in Bosque County, TX. The Clifton Record, Clifton, Texas, was purchased from Progressive Media Communications, Inc headed by W. Leon Smith. This newspaper has been owned by the Smith family for many years. Also acquired is the Bosque County News based in Meridian, Texas, from DEM Publishing, LLC owned by Mr. and Mrs. Evan Moore in Meridian, Texas. Rollie Hyde of W. B. Grimes & Company represented Bosque County Publishing LP and Bill Berger of Associated Texas Newspapers represented Evan Moore. “This is a great opportunity for our little family of newspapers. These are two solid communities and both of these papers have a long history of quality publishing.
