Central OK Publications Acquires Bristow News
BRISTOW, OK—Central Oklahoma Publications LLC, of Cordell, OK, has acquired the Bristow News, a twice-weekly paid-circulation newspaper in Bristow, OK, from CKA Publications LLC.
The purchase was announced by Brett Wesner, principal of Central Oklahoma Publications. CKA Publications is owned and managed by Carolyn Ashford Wright. CKA will retain the News-Weekly of Glenpool, OK.
“I’ve long been impressed by the community of Bristow, and I look forward to working in a partnership with the people and businesses there,” Wesner said. “I appreciate the excellent work Ms. Ashford Wright has done here, and we hope to continue her tradition of excellent community journalism.”
